Women's Transport and Logistics Awards Deadline Extended

UK – The deadline for this year’s FTA everywoman Transport & Logistics Awards nomination deadline has been extended until Monday 13 February. The awards are intended to highlight the very best female talent working within the industry and in past years have showcased a succession of highly talented women who have excelled in their chosen careers.

If you know of a woman who is driving change within your organisation who deserves recognition, nominations can be made here in any of the eleven categories including supply chain, freight, passenger, infrastructure and warehousing. There is also the Industry Champion Award will also recognise a man or woman who is championing the progress of women working in transport and logistics.

Both the Freight Transport Association (FTA) which sponsors the awards, and everywoman, point out that becoming a finalist is an excellent way to raise both individual and company profiles, as well as encourage more women and young girls to consider a career in transport and logistics. Previous winners include prestigious names such as ASDA, John Lewis, Transport for London, Advanced Supply Chain and National Express, but any organisation is eligible as the quality of nominee is what’s important.
