USA – To mark their 35th anniversary California-based Dedola Global Logistics (DGL)have announced that they are to hold a video contest on the 14th of June that will test competitors language skills, with a brand-new Apple iPad 2 up for grabs for the winner.

The “Language of Logistics” contest will feature a video of employees at DGL’s Los Alamitos headquarters and will require contestants to identify eleven languages as they first appear in the video. Those who enter the correct answers will then be placed in a draw for the prize.

The competition is designed to show the importance for those involved in the global logistics industry to understand and successfully communicate with geographically and culturally diverse customers and DGL’s appreciation of this, which is all too important when the company provides freight services to nearly two hundred countries around the world.

“Diversity has been critical throughout our 35 years in business,” explains Stephen Dedola, Chief Financial Officer of Dedola Global Logistics.

“Our ability to communicate efficiently, in a variety of languages, is a valuable asset to our company and to our clients.”

The contest begins on June 14th at 10:30 am (PDT) and runs through to July the 18th.
