UK – Langley headquartered warehouse supplies company Armkor has announced it is to expand its presence northward with the news that it is to open an office in Manchester. Opened in 2006 the company works with the supply chain sector to provide a full range of essential materials handling related goods such as truck docks and scissor lifts for sale or rental, backed up with planned maintenance and facilities services for every freight warehouse situation.

Continuous investment in tooling and staff training backed up by a rapid response, 24 hour/365 day service offering, plus the proximity of its head office to London’s Heathrow airport, has led to contracts with three leading air freight handling companies designing, fabricating and installing modified air cargo systems, whilst currently Armkor is becoming more involved with participating in various refurbishment programmes together with facilities management groups. Tony Lynam Armkor’s Maintenance and Servicing Director, commented:

“This really is an exciting time for the company. We are able to increase our service levels existing customers and also provide prospective customers with the service and products that are required. Although we have been active on a national level for several years, the time has come to have a full time presence by opening an office in Manchester. The opening of the office comes after several years of organic growth within the organisation, we have decided now is the right time in response to our customer requirements.”
