US – UK – The safety and security of cargo stowage when carrying freight is of the utmost importance with haulage drivers shortly to need formal qualifications in the UK before getting behind the wheel. Now a range of the best known American cargo securing products are to be made available to British hauliers with the news that a UK agent has been appointed to act as sales agent for the Kinedyne Corporation’s truck and van securing systems.

Kinedyne, established in the US since 1968, produce a wide spectrum of items covering the need to ensure the safety of all types of cargo. The company already operates in China, Canada and Mexico but the appointment of Cargo Securing Solutions Limited (CSSL) in Barry, South Wales, is the first time the group has moved into the European market. Larry Harrison, Kinedyne Vice President of Sales & Marketing said:

“Kinedyne has searched for many years to find the right partner for the UK market. We are pleased to have established this relationship with Cargo Securing Solutions and look forward to working with them in pursuing the potential for sales of our products in the United Kingdom, ultimately increasing our global presence.”

CSSL is headed up by Managing Director, Michael Wildi who has a long track record in cargo security having worked at Load-Lok UK for some thirteen years. CSSL already represents several other businesses associated with the carriage of both ambient and temperature controlled cargoes including Finnish company NWE and the Dutch group STORR . Mr Wildi commented:

“Kinedyne is among the most quality-conscious manufacturers in the industry. The company has earned a well deserved reputation for supplying high quality load securement products. I’m certain that with Kinedyne’s extensive product line, the load securement needs of distributors and consumers in our region will be met and surpassed. CSSL is proud to be a part of its team and to be the driving force behind its efforts to develop this market.”

Wildi emphasized that Kinedyne’s Kaptive Beam® (captive beam) double-decking system, designed for use with box vans, trailers and containers, will substantially improve load capacity, whilst Kinedyne winch products, will offer trucking operators in the region an alternative to conventional ratchet straps, as they are faster to operate with Kinedyne’s proprietary Ratcheting Winch Bar.

The entire line of Kinedyne cargo control solutions is available in a digital catalogue format, by visiting the company’s global Web site and interested parties can contact Michael Wildi at CSSL on +44 (0) 1446 420985 or via e mail
