Tschudi Logistics Expands Capacity on North Sea and Baltic Freight Offerings

NORWAY / NORTH SEA – Norwegian-based Tschudi Logistics Holding AS has increased capacity on their services in both the North and Baltic Seas with the deployment of two vessels.

The MV Pachuca (750-teus) is now deployed on the Tschudi Lines North Sea container service and from the 12th of May 2011 MV Pagola (700-teus) has been deployed on the Tschudi Lines Baltic Sea container service.

Managing Director, Eskil Ødegaard said that: “This increased capacity of 40% on our North Sea Line and 30% on our Baltic Sea Line strengthens our market position and our commitment to the door to door logistic concept we offer. A wide variety of containers suitable for most cargo commodities can be provided”.

The sailings link the Oslo Fjord with Immingham, UK – Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Esbjerg, Denmark. Departure from Rotterdam is Friday evenings and, with a fixed weekly sailing schedule, arrival Drammen, Sunday evenings.

Intermodal connections to France, Ireland, Italy and Spain are offered with rail and truck companies and direct connections to East Europe with Tschudi Lines Baltic Sea, where the company oerates a short sea container line door to door concept in the Baltic States, Northern Europe and Russia.
