AUSTRALIA – The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) is looking to give a leg up to three budding stars of the workshop by helping to send young truck mechanics - sorry, service technicians - to the Technical and Maintenance Conference in Melbourne. Open to workers under 25 years old, employers will need to explain why the service technicians deserve to attend the conference which will be held on the 15th to the 17th of October.

The three winners will receive full registration to the event and two nights’, room only accommodation worth over A$1,100. The lucky trio will also have the opportunity to receive mentoring from some of the best in the business and receive certificates of attendance to three different training workshops. The winners will also be able to attend the Castrol Awards Dinner, the ALLRig Funhouse at the Classic Car Collection or any other forums and networking opportunities.

With only one nomination per company, just email the short paragraph along with your contact details and which technician you are nominating to ataevents@truck.net.au  by 5.00pm on Tuesday 9th October. Successful entries will be notified next Wednesday morning.
