UK – With another new and virulent Covid variation currently sweeping the world it is permissible to look forward with hope that some sort of normality may return, if only for the Summer months when the disease finds it harder to multiply in the warm open air.

In this case we are hopeful that by July 2022, somewhere in London, the transport community will be able to celebrate in person, rather than virtually, next year’s 15th annual everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards. The need now is to prepare and lodge nominations for the event with a deadline of 7th February approaching.

With Christmas and New Year almost upon us, and all they entail for busy logistics businesses, time seems to move at a faster pace. Whatever the future does hold however the awards, sponsored by Amazon, are set to go ahead to once more to celebrate the committed women who, through their efforts and enthusiasm, are slowly changing the genetic bias of an industry which is too often still following a male dominated pattern.

Whether you’re entering yourself or nominating a woman or man you know who inspires you (which you can do HERE), there are loads of great reasons to enter the awards, for example:

  • To receive nationwide recognition and high-profile press coverage for both the individual and their company’s achievements
  • To boost your personal brand credentials and inspire the next generation of talent
  • It’s free to nominate yourself or someone else you know

As well as the main title sponsorship from Amazon two other industry interests are backing the awards, Asda and Unipart Rail, but there are still plenty of other opportunities to promote your organisation by emailing the everywoman team at contact@everywoman.com
