UK – Nominations have now opened for the 2019 everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards and a new, additional category is being added this year to one of the freight industry's most popular events, which will see some deserving male or female newcomer collecting the Apprentice of the Year Award. Despite the Awards' title men feature also in their own category, with the Male Agent of Change Award celebrating someone who has furthered the cause of women in the industry.

The ceremony this time will again be held in London between noon and 4pm on the 13th June 2019, with the exact location still to be announced. As previously the Awards (except the two categories mentioned above plus the Industry Champion of the Year) will feature two separate sections.

The ‘Above and Beyond’ part celebrates a woman that has truly gone above and beyond her role to help drive the organisation's success. This is awarded to a woman at any stage of her career, in recognition of her commitment to going the ‘extra mile’. Meanwhile the ‘Leader’ section of each Award in turn celebrates a woman operating in a senior role within her organisation and making a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the business.

This set up means the awards are as inclusive as possible and are open to women at all stages of their career, from those who go above and beyond the call of duty in their jobs, to leaders in their roles. Nominations will close on the 111th February 2019 with judging in April and the full list of awards are as follows:
