UK – Articulated Fork truck maker Narrow Aisle Ltd has appointed Stephen Astbury as the company’s new Head of Strategic Development. He will oversee delivery of sales and commercial and customer strategy across a number of key territories – including the USA and Canada.

UK – Pall-Ex London has named Brian Devine as its new General Manager. He heads up an Owned Operation of Pall-Ex (UK) Ltd, based in Basildon, Essex.

UK – First Choice Staff, recruitment specialists to the Freight, Logistics & Distribution industries in the UK, is expanding its offering to Airport Services, Cargo and Ground Handling companies following the appointment of Colin Blusch as Aviation Business Development Manager.

Based at First Choice Staff’s head office close to Heathrow Airport, Colin brings over 20 years’ experience in the aviation and handling sectors, having previously held senior management roles with Plane Handling/dnata and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS).

GERMANY – Tobias B. Staehelin will be proposed for election to the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International at the Annual General Meeting on May 4.

NETHERLANDS – Digital freight forwarder, sennder, has announced the appointment of Jared Winder as Vice President – Carriers. He joins the company’s Amsterdam team.

GREECE – Shipowners Claims Bureau (SCB), managers of the American Club, has announced new appointments at its Piraeus, Greece office. Andrew Dyer, currently a partner in the Greek office of Hill Dickinson, will join SCB’s Piraeus office in early April as corporate Vice President.

He will undertake the role of Regional Claims Director for the American Club’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with coterminous responsibility as Global Claims Manager for the Club’s Eagle Ocean Marine (EOM) facility.

SCB also announced the appointment of Niki Tiga to the role of Club Correspondents’ Manager. Tiga has been part of the Club’s management team for around ten years, having started in the London office and having more recently moved to Greece.

With Dyer joining the group, Despina Beveratou, who has to date fulfilled Dyers forthcoming responsibilities in regard to the Club’s Eagle Ocean Marine facility in SCB’s London office, as well as Tiga's new duties as Correspondents’ Manager. Beveratou will be returning from London to Greece at the end of March to pursue new interests.

US – Thomas Miller Americas has appointed Meaghan Argentieri as a Senior Claims Executive to its New Jersey office. A maritime professional with nearly two decades of experience, Argentieri joins Thomas Miller Americas from a Jones Act Ocean Carrier, where she held both operational and risk management positions.

Her new role at Thomas Miller Americas will focus on handling a caseload of P&I Club matters and providing expert advisory services to Members.

CANADA – Drone Delivery Canada has announced Armen Keuleyan as its new Director of Sales and Marketing, effective since March 1. Keuleyan was recently Head of Sales, Aftermarket Products & Services, for TRU Simulation & Training, a division of Textron.

KENYA – Prashant Sindhwani, Country Manager at Hapag-Lloyd will lead the 6 staff at the company’s new office in Nairobi as well as being in charge of the 19 personnel in Mombasa and the single employee in Uganda.
