UK – WORLDWIDE – Britain has always been able to hold its head up in the field of fashion and now one product specific freight forwarder is helping an up-and-coming British fashion brand grow into new markets. Wholesale courier broker Freight Brokers is managing international time critical, sample, and production shipments for London based Body Editions. The label, which specialises in bodysuits, is expanding and recently became available for purchase at Net-a-Porter, Avenue 32, and Alex Eagle.

Fashion editor and stylist Franco launched Body Editions in 2011, focusing on tailored body shaping suits made from Italian yarns, German technical fabrics, and soft silk, and produced in Barcelona, Spain. The brand has a wide fan base that includes the likes of Carine Roitfeld, Cara Delevingne, and many other influential women.

The garments the company makes aim to redefine the bodysuit as a staple wardrobe piece designed to feel like a second skin - seamless and sensual. The uniquely tailored bodies create an optical illusion via the placement of apparent seams, which do not interrupt the line on the body but instead mimic the classic feminine hourglass shape. Body Editions founder Raquel Franco said:

“Freight Brokers really stood out as a company that understands the supply chain through and through, whilst consistently delivering the highest level of service, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship that we expect will only grow as we expand.”

Freight Brokers operates an online system that works in real time to allow its clients to track and trace deliveries, as well as downloading proofs of delivery and Ben Keisner, Sales Director commented:

“We ensure our customers get the best rates available by working closely with all of the major carriers, and we are looking forward to bringing this benefit to Body Editions as they continue to grow.”
