Shipping Containers and Bulk Freight are all Standard Fare to New Mobile Harbour Crane

Another First as Liebherr Delivers to Netherlands

NETHERLANDS – Crane maker Liebherr has reported another first with sale of one of the company’s LHM 420 mobile harbour cranes to Pacorini Metals Terminals B.V. in Vlissingen, the first time one of this particular model has been sold to a Netherlands based customer. The model is a general purpose machine, capable of handling shipping containers as well as bulk freight sited at a well situated multimodal centre.

The machine provides a maximum lifting capacity of 84 tonnes with an outreach of 48 metres, and will serve Swiss headquartered Pacorini at one of its three Netherlands facilities which mainly specialise in handling and storage of Non-Ferrous metals, Ferro Alloys & Minor Metals. Vlissingen is a well-established international hub at the mouth of the river Western Scheldt with excellent access to road, rail and inland waterways. Mark Doene, Commercial Manager for Pacorini Metals Terminals B.V. commented:

The LHM 420 now allows for highly efficient cargo handling in 25 countries on six continents across the globe.
