Public Nominations Now Open for Freight Transport Awards at Major Logistics Event

UK – The Multimodal show held annually at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) remains the pre-eminent British event for those in the shipping and logistics fields to gather, see and demonstrate what is new, and network with fellow professionals, suppliers and clients. With the dust post Brexit hopefully settling, the 2019 version should be an interesting place to be this year.

This week the 2019 FTA Multimodal Awards opened for nominations with the winners to be announced on June 18, the first day of the show, at the winner’s VIP dinner and ceremony at the VOX Conference Centre, Resorts World at the NEC Birmingham, with over 650 guests expected to attend. To make life interesting the host for the event will be snooker legend Steve Davis, OBE.

The following Awards are voted for by a panel of judges. Whilst the Services Awards are voted for by thousands of Multimodal followers, exhibitors and FTA members, the other categories are judged by a panel including Stavros Evangelakakis, Head of Global Healthcare, Cargolux, and Chairman of the Cool Chain Association; Daniel MacGregor, Co-founder at Nexiot; Peter Ward, Chief Executive Officer of the UK Warehousing Association; James Hookham, Deputy Chief Chairman, Freight Transport Association; Adele-Louise Carter, Liverpool - Humber Optimisation of Freight Transport Project Manager, P&O Ferries; and Jervis himself.
