MANILA, PHILLIPPINES - Aboitiz Transport System (ATS), who claim to be the only integrated transport solutions provider in the Philippines, have concentrated more on their freight business and reported a solid enough performance for the times.

The company is part of the Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) Group and operates the brand names "SuperFerry," "SuperCat" and "Cebu Ferries." Its cargo business, under the brand name "2GO", covers containerization, Roll-on Roll-Off (Ro-Ro) services, logistics and supply chain solutions. The company’s freight business posted 16 percent year-on-year growth as it operated its full fleet. The Aboitiz own supply chain and value added business used its freight capacity, which registered a 228% annual revenue growth to P789 million. They also recently purchased a 1,000 TEU capacity container vessel for US$4 million for overseas charters. Low cost air travel has affected the group but last years purchase of Scan – Asia Overseas Inc has also assisted in boosting the groups profit figures.
