Panalpina Expands Logistics Offerings in the US

Value-Added Logistics Services at Huntsville Hub

ALABAMA - USA – Swiss-based logistics operator Panalpina is expanding its logistics offerings to US customers by commissioning their new Huntsville Logistics Center (HLC), which is located next to their existing Alabama hub so as to link into of Panalpina’s own controlled air freight network. The HLC will provide complete kitting and parts assembly for some of the world’s largest well known hi-tech manufacturers. In addition, the fully equipped 40,000 square foot facility offers temperature controlled storage areas for Panalpina customers in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The HLC is the latest example of Panalpina’s recently specified strategy where their core service offering, Air and Ocean Freight, is to be complemented by Supply Chain Services (SCS) and Value Added Services (VAS) in Logistics.
