Novice Road Haulage Interests May Appreciate Van Guide

Mercedes Dealer Explains Individual Body Styles and Abilities
Shipping News Feature

UK – Whilst not strictly a freight story the ‘infographic’ recently produced by S&B Commercials, a Mercedes Benz outlet, caught our eye and may prove of interest to some novice road haulage operators, particularly if they are about to stray outside their comfort zone where the choice of a used vehicle is concerned. The guide (which can be downloaded here) shows the five different types of van available for carrying light to medium goods together with the maximum number of staff each can carry, dependent on body type.

With outlets in Welham Green and Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire and West Thurrock in Essex S&B offer a comprehensive range of used vehicles and the new guide also gives a brief run down on each vehicle type and even approximates new and used prices together with a brief description of the five styles, ranging from tipper trucks through to panel vans, curtainsides, Lutons and dropside vans.

S&B says its guide will be of use to any potential customer looking to add to their fleet either for domestic or international haulage use and the guide weblink also gives the opportunity to make a request for more information.
