In addition to the award the winner of the Young Freight Forwarder title will receive a cheque for £1,000 and be nominated as the UK candidate for the Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Award 2012.

Peter Quantrill, BIFA's Director General, said that:

“Since we established these awards 23 years ago, we have never been let down by our Members. Each year, we have seen improvements in the standard of entries received. We are always delighted at the quality of the entrants who are aspiring to be recognised as the best in the industry. This aspiration continues to drive standards to improve each year. That is why we are looking forward to another successful competition with a large number of entries.

“The competition is now officially launched so this is the moment to take the time to seriously consider entering any of the categories that reflect the best your company can achieve. As well as encouraging and rewarding high standards and professionalism, the awards represent the ultimate recognition of special achievement in different sectors of the freight forwarding and logistics industry.”

Entries to any of the categories can be made through the event’s website and are open to all full and probationary trading members of the trade Association.
