UK – MALTA –Sheldon Clayton has opened a new door to door road haulage service between the UK and Malta as from this month. It has been a busy time for the West Bromwich based freight forwarding and logistics group which has just completed a rebranding of its vehicle fleet and now dressed its delivery and warehouse personnel in brand new set of uniforms even down to their work boots prior to expanding its service offerings.

The Maltese connection comes about as a result of a new partnership with Express Trailers Malta and adds to the company’s existing Irish, Italian and Baltic groupage services. Telematics fitted equipment is utilised on the new route which will operate on a weekly groupage basis with full loads also accommodated.

All drivers are ADR Registered, so hazardous goods can be carried alongside general cargo, and from the new centre in Luga, which specialises in time controlled deliveries, there is a full collection and delivery service across the island with the opportunity to also access neighbouring countries.

Sheldon Clayton will once again be present at the Multimodal show at Birmingham’s NEC (stall 217) which runs from the 29th of April until the 1st of May to highlight both the company’s national and international services.
