BFS opened its North London Business Centre in 2015 and its Head, Claire Jeffs said the company’s growth since then had prompted the latest move which sees the Brook Street location as ideal both for staff and customers. She continued:
“We needed to find new offices that could both satisfy our needs now and in the future as we continue to grow. Academy Place is a fantastic location and gives us the option to take further space as we expand in the future.”
BFS specialises in assisting small and medium size enterprises and is the UK’s largest independent invoice finance provider. In March the company was awarded 33rd place in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For in 2017 and it supports more than 7,000 UK businesses with its Invoice Finance, Asset Finance, Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance and Export Finance solutions from 17 locations around the UK. Globally, the business’s funding capability amounts to more than £1 billion. Michael McGowan, Managing Director of Foreign Exchange at BFS commented:
“We have significantly expanded the range of services we provide to small businesses in recent years, and this has enabled us to support a larger number of SMEs. Unlike other financial services providers, we take a relationship-based approach to funding, which means that we can work with our clients, online, over the telephone or face-to-face.
“As such, it’s important that we have premises that can accommodate this personal touch. I’m delighted with our new, professional offices at Academy Place and look forward to welcoming our clients and the wider business community to visit our North London Business Centre in the months ahead.”
