New Afghan Route for NAC

Military specialist to cover Kandahar

USA / AFGHANISTAN - Air charter operator National Air Cargo (NAC), which specialises in dealing with military customers, has announced it is to institute extra cargo flights between the USA and Afghanistan in support of American military operations in the theatre.

The flights will leave from Willow Run Airport, Michigan for Kandahar via Bagram air base every Friday.

Robert Schlager, National Air Cargo regional director-Americas, said that: “Extending the flight to Kandahar from Bagram continues our efforts to supply American military operations in Afghanistan. Our goal is to do everything we can to expediently and efficiently send and deliver materials and goods to the military wherever it is needed.”

National Air Cargo’s heavy airlift capability has been used widely in reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan, with the company delivering such items as generators, water purification systems and construction materials
