Libyan Air Freight Service Opens For UAE Cargo

LIBYA – UAE – WORLDWIDE – Now that things have settled down in Libya Starlight Airlines, the UAE based freight and charter company, has commenced a weekly cargo service from Dubai to Benghazi utilising one of the company’s Boeing 747’s.

With offices in Houston and Los Angeles as well as the UK and across the world Starlight has principally served Iraq and Afghanistan for the past few years often in partnership with Emirates Sky Cargo and the company also has services which include several African destinations plus Russia.

The initial Libyan flight took place on the 20th December and the air carrier also uses Sharjah as one of its hubs to consolidate incoming shipments from all parts of the world for onward transmission to its main markets using a fleet which includes 777’s as well as Airbus A300F’s and Ilyushin IL76 freighters.
