UK – Once again the date for this year’s everywoman Academy, themed ‘Advancing Women in Transport & Logistics’, is rapidly approaching and gives the opportunity for anyone serious about a career in the industry to hear from experts how to plot a path to success. Suitable for many women, from junior staff with ambition and potential, to middle managers of varying experience, the Academy offers a range of speakers who would grace any stage.

This year gives the opportunity to hear the likes of Marianne Culver, TNT’s Managing Director and Lieutenant Commander Elaine Boyd RN, who earlier this year collected the Team Leader Award at the 8th Annual FTA everywoman Awards for Transport and Logistics. Both will share how they have managed their outstanding careers with an honest look into the challenges and highlights along the way, whilst the interactive masterclasses with everywoman experts will teach essential techniques to build confidence in the workplace and bounce back during difficult times.

The day will end with a motivational session with Jo Salter, Britain’s first female jet pilot, intended to inspire and instruct, uncovering the way to use skills and developing confidence. There will be a study of how to get ahead within their organisations by understanding the company’s culture. A straw poll last year showed how 94% of delegates at the Academy felt it offered them insight and inspiration, and those who are interested in attending the event, held on the 8th September at the Hilton Coventry Hotel, can apply for tickets here.
