Heavy Airlift Success For Agility Logistics

Seventeen Ton Steel Plant Machinery Delivered Without Hitch

Germany/Brazil - Agility, has successfully delivered an over-dimensional, 17.8-ton gas holder diaphragm from Germany to Brazil to a newly established steel mill in Brazil operated by ThyssenKrupp CSA.

The diaphragm, which measures 24 meters long x 2.35 meters wide x 1.02 meters high, was delivered within five days.

Working with Chapman Freeborn, a specialist aircraft charter company, Agility conducted a special night transport from the production site in Northeim to Hanover Airport in Germany. The new gas holder was then transported aboard a Kalitta Air 747 Nose-Loader charter plane to Cabo Frio near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
