Hapag Lloyd Offers New Sea Freight Shipping Services for Singapore and Halifax

SINGAPORE / INDONESIA / CANADA / USA – Hapag-Lloyd have announced the start of two new freight shipping services - a new weekly Singapore - Indonesia Service (SIS) connecting Singapore and Indonesia and a new feeder service connecting Halifax with Portland, Maine and Boston, Massachusetts.

The new SIS service will have its first sailing depart from Singapore on August the 4th and call at Surabaya and Jakarta before returning to Singapore.

The North American feeder sees Hapag-Lloyd utilising the American Feeder Lines service between Portland, Maine and Boston, Massachusetts via the port of Halifax.

The service schedule runs:

Sailing Halifax Fridays, arrive Portland Sunday

Depart Portland Monday, arrive Boston Tuesday

Depart Boston Tuesday, arrive Halifax Wednesday.

Hapag-Lloyd states that by working with American Feeder Lines they can now offer customers on the U.S. East Coast a more efficient link into their regular Halifax services to Asia, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle-East.
