NORWAY – GAC tell us today that they have opened their newest logistics office at Oslo International Airport viewing this as an ideal location to continue the expansion of the company’s warehousing, logistics and air freight interests in the region. GAC already have eleven other sites strategically located from Oslo northwards to Spitsbergen in the Arctic Circle.
Gunnar Lundgren, GAC’s Regional Logistics Manager for Europe, says GAC’s geographical expansion in Norway has been driven by increased business opportunities from existing and new customers:
“We expect to see a continuous positive trend in the Norwegian market, with greater demand for shipping and logistics services – especially from clients involved in oil and gas operations,” he said.
The new office will be managed by Logistics Manager Alexander Olsen, who has more than a decade of logistics experience including three and a half years with GAC in Singapore and means the group now has in excess of 300 offices globally employing over 9,000 staff.
