Freight Forwarding Group Takes Control of Logistics Partner

SPAIN – HONG KONG – News of another consolidation this week with the Hong Kong headquartered freight forwarding group Kerry Logistics completing the acquisition of its joint venture Spanish company Kerry Salvat Logistics S.A owned previously in partnership with Salvat Logistica S.A. Kerry has had a presence in the Iberian peninsula since 2005 and intends to expand the opportunities for Spanish customers to trade with Asia, its specialist market.

Kerry Logistics now has offices in 23 countries with a definite bias toward the Chinese trade and Sebastian Bernardo, General Manager, Kerry Logistics (Spain), S.A.U. commented:

“In light of the economic downturn in Spain, we are eager to help our customers to reach out to China and other Asian markets. A dedicated Spanish division has been set up by Kerry Logistics in Shanghai to support Spanish brands wanting to expand their sales in China.”
