UK – Eclipse Container Logistics, based in Grantham, Lincolnshire has been working closely with international freight forwarding outfit Röhlig Logistics since its inception last year, and now the two have tied the commercial knot tighter with the news that the road haulage outfit will henceforth display the distinctive Röhlig blue livery on its dedicated vehicles.

Family owned and run Röhlig Logistics, in contrast to its latest partner, has operated since 1852 when it started as an agency in Bremen, Germany from whence it has expanded into 31 countries with a global staff count of over 2,000. Simon Caddick, Branch Manager at Röhlig’s Solihull office spoke of the latest development, saying:

“At Röhlig, we’re always looking at ways of delivering better service to our clients. Our partnership with Eclipse Container Logistics is one way we’ve been able to do that. It’s allowed us to offer much more flexibility to our customers, especially at the port. Putting the same colours on both companies’ vehicles is one way of recognising this close working relationship.”

Eclipse Container Logistics morphed out of Eclipse European Limited which founder Ollie Hrycak started in 2010 aged just 21. Lee Lambert, who, alongside Hrycak, was responsible for formation of Eclipse Container Logistics, commented:

“We’ve had a very successful working relationship with Röhlig right from the beginning and their livery on our vehicles demonstrates to the entire industry, as well as our customers, the success of that partnership when it comes to delivering world class freight forwarding services.”
