Freight Firms Asked to Look For Stolen Trucks

100,000 Pounds Worth of Equipment Vanished in the Night
Shipping News Feature

UK – Freight companies were today asked to look out for four lorries stolen during the early hours of this morning from the premises of G Moore Haulage, Manor Road, Kempston Hardwick in Bedfordshire in view of the growing trade to ship plant and vehicles overseas following thefts.

The vehicles, together with a quantity of red diesel, were taken despite their ignition keys remaining in the offices of the skip hire, waste disposal and recycling company. The trucks, three tippers and a skip lorry, were in blue livery (see photograph) with registration numbers KX03 KPT, KX03 KPZ and KX54 NVE (tippers) and CN05 FHH for the skip loader.

With a value of around £100,000 no company these days can afford such a loss, even with insurance delays and extra costs can prove prohibitive, so as these trucks are not the easiest thing to move or disguise please report any sightings or other information to local Police by texting 07786 200011 DC Hynes or e mail G Moore at gmoorehaulage@btconnect.com or telephone 01234 851731.
