UK– When it comes down to it materials handling is what the freight business is all about and recently specialist manufacturer of fork trucks and other essential equipment Jungheinrich announced the launch of a new range of manoeuvrable and compact electric-powered pedestrian operated stacker trucks. The new EJC 110/112/212 models can lift loads up to 1,200 kilograms to heights of 4.70 metres and thanks to the 3-phase AC motors the trucks are fitted with, the trucks are particularly energy efficient.

With ease of maintenance and minimum downtime in mind, Jungheinrich designed the truck in such a way that, in the event of a wheel change being required, there is no need to lift the truck completely, the support wheel can be simply and safely put in place by hand.

A new integrated charger provides easy and reliable charging at any 13 amp plug socket gives users the option to opportunity charge throughout the shift. The charger is enclosed to IP 54 standards which means that it is protected against dust and moisture which enables the new truck to be operated within a cold store environment.

With the tiller in an upright position and the crawl speed button set, the truck can be manoeuvred safely and efficiently in the narrowest aisles and within confined warehouse spaces.
