Freight Association Logistics Conference Details Confirmed

Freight by Water and Scottish Supply Chain Events in September

UK - The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has announced details of two events which will be of interest to anyone involved in the supply chain. The FTA has confirmed details of the forthcoming Freight by Water free one day conference on the 7th September focusing on sea freight services full place reservation details of which are available in our previous article or simply fax through the FTA’s Booking Form. The second event, which takes place on the 27th of September, is the FTA’s Scottish Supply Chain Conference, which provides freight, logistics and supply chain organisations an opportunity to discuss the requirements of exporters, importers and retailers.

Whilst the Freight by Water conference, to be held at PD Ports Ltd in Middlesbrough and includes key themes which will focus on mode shift grants, commercial possibilities for water freight and how to manage the impact of the new Low Sulphur Directive is a free event the Scottish Supply Chain Conference, held at DWF Biggart Baillie in Glasgow, will cost £75 plus VAT.

This latter event features a talk from industry speaker, Professor Alan McKinnon and his take on the challenges in the European and global market. There is also a chance to network with colleagues and industry professionals. Details of the conference and discount information can be found HERE.
