Freight and Logistics Outfit Continues Czech Expansion in Trailer Market

CZECH REPUBLIC – AUSTRIA - Austrian freight and logistics operator Gebrüder Weiss (GW) has continued its expansion in the region with the opening of a new branch in Jablonec nad Nisou in the territory of Liberec in North Bohemia. The new Czech Republic branch in Jablonec offers a wide spectrum of services from land transport and air & sea freight to individual logistics solutions including the less and full trailer load services the company calls ‘GW direct.line’.

From the new facility this will provide direct delivery of goods within the Czech Republic and throughout Europe with specialisation on Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Turkey. GW says the basic advantages of this product are high flexibility, possibility to arrange transit times individually and the wide availability of required loading space.

GW country manager Harald Prohaska says he considers the region in which the new undertaking is based as having one of the strongest futures in the country in terms of potential for growth. With this latest investment the group says it evidences its intentions for ongoing development in the North Bohemian region whilst fulfilling to of its basic operational principles, sustainability whilst moving closer to its customer base.
