Freight and Logistics in London Going to the Dogs

Serious Delivery Option or Publicity Stunt - You Decide
Shipping News Feature

UK – With the unpredictability of British weather a major concern for all freight and logistics outfits, hauliers need to start experimenting with a more diverse range of options to ensure that deliveries arrive on time. Now, parcel carrier CitySprint claims it is trialling an age old method through London, to traverse the ‘inevitable snow’ with the help of Arctic Quest and its pack of trained huskies. Patrick Gallagher, CEO of CitySprint, said:

“We need to make sure we are ready for every eventuality and using the dogs during the snowy Christmas period in 2010 would certainly have helped reduce disruption in areas affected by the adverse conditions. Additionally, we hope our four legged friends bring a smile to people’s faces during the festive period and beyond!"
