UK – One of the country's best established international freight forwarding groups, W.E. Deane, has announced that it is expanding its logistics arm to meet the growing demand for its bespoke service offering within the marketplace.

The business has seen a fast increasing diversity in its portfolio of value added services, particularly within the automotive and retail sectors, with growth levels increasing year on year for all aspects of its logistics operation ranging from pick and pack to delivering a full supply chain solution.

Harnessing a wealth of expertise that has spanned over five decades, W.E. Deane has been family owned since 1963 and has since established itself as one most experienced names within the sector. With offices in South Africa, the Netherlands and across the UK, W.E. Deane already occupies an international presence within the marketplace and will draw from its global experience to further develop its position in the logistics industry.

Having recently expanded its Midlands operations by opening two new depots in Birmingham, the established freight forwarder has taken the decision to increase capacity in order to meet the growing demands of the marketplace. The logistics operation will be underpinned by its state-of-the-art bespoke IT system that will streamline the operational infrastructure into a simple, yet seamless process, moving the business into the digital fast lane.
