The John Good Group was established in 1833 and has offices at 16 locations across the UK as well as overseas offices in Turkey and China, and with this new venture says it will cement the company’s position as a complete logistics provider, adding to a panoply of services which already included freight forwarding, liner and port agency, road haulage, warehousing and customs clearance. Seamus Jennings, Managing Director, commented:
“We have been looking to establish ourselves in the air freight industry for a while now. Air freight is not new to us, however we felt that in order to meet our customers’ requirements and provide competitive rates, a separate division needed to be established. We are extremely fortunate that we have been able to team up with Ed Clarke, a highly experienced and respected figure in the air freight industry, and after a long time spent considering the various options, we can now look forward to stamping our mark on the air freight industry.”
Ed Clarke has wide ranging experience in the sector, having an involvement with airfreight stretching back over 25 years and his brief is to develop the company’s air cargo activities and its range of import and export services to and from all main UK airports including Manchester and London Heathrow.
