UK – Anyone booking a corporate event with Trinity House can now take advantage of an unusual addition to the sumptuous surroundings of what is one of the most historic of London locations. The elegant working home of the General Lighthouse Authority, an organisation which together with its predecessors has guided seafarers safely for generations, stands opposite the Tower of London on Tower Hill, and has now teamed up with the creative group at Wildgoose to offer corporate bookers a maritime-themed team-building ‘Trinity House City Explorer' treasure hunt package.

The Corporation of Trinity House is the UK's largest endowed maritime charity, donating millions every year to over twenty good causes and the neo-classical building contains a variety of elegant and versatile banqueting and conference rooms, some interconnecting, with views of the River Thames. The new offer is conditional on a confirmed booking being made at the House which is offering 10% off published venue hire rates in support.

Designed to showcase City and Tower Hill landmarks and historic points of interest in a challenging and entertaining manner, the ‘Explorer’ is bound to be popular with City based teams looking for a bonding exercise. The half-day package is priced at £40 per person + VAT for a minimum of 20 participants and up to as many as 130/180, the maximum seating/standing capacity of the House.

Participants meet and depart from Trinity House in groups of five and, armed with tablets as their guide, set about taking the Wildgoose / Trinity House City Explorer challenge, completing a series of tasks, questions, photo and video challenges whilst exploring the location and taking in the sights. Teams are likely to compete fiercely to earn the most points and be crowned champions. To conclude the event, an awards ceremony reception and/or dinner can take place catered by any one of 12 preferred caterers familiar with Trinity House, and would typically include images and video footage taken by the teams for a suitable conclusion to the day.

Wildgoose is a multi award-winning events company, specialising in unique location-based challenges. Wildgoose has taken the traditional treasure hunt concept and combined it with innovative technology and inspired content to create fun, engaging, interactive tablet-based challenges. The company's unique technology uses GPS and image recognition functionality allowing it to be used anywhere.
