BRAZIL / WORLDWIDE – CEVA Logistics has signed a three year contract with Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. The contract makes CEVA responsible for Embraer’s Middle Eastern spare parts logistical requirements and for additional support to the company’s North Africa and Indian operations.

To manage the contract CEVA is to hold a considerable store of parts for Embraer aircraft at its Dubai distribution facility so as to ensure prompt response to requirements.

Edson Carlos Mallaco, Embraer’s Vice President, said: “We are very pleased to offer this new support base to our customers in the Middle East with spare part inventories near to them. This achievement, which will improve our service level, further confirms Embraer’s policy to work as closely as possible to its customers in each region.”

Gianfranco Sgro, President of CEVA in Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “We are delighted that Embraer decided to entrust CEVA with the management of its spare parts.”
