ITALY – Global supply chain management company, CEVA Logistics, has just signed three contracts with consumer goods giant Proctor & Gamble (P&G) for managing their Italian logistics requirements.

P&G have confirmed their intention to retain CEVA’s current services in processing and packing finished products at their warehouse near Rome. In addition, two new contracts also give CEVA the responsibility for processing the home care products in two other P&G warehouses: Campochiaro, in the province of Campobasso, and the Gattatico centre in the province of Reggio Emilia.

Gianfranco Sgro, President for CEVA in Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said:

“We are proud that P&G has chosen to expand its partnership with CEVA. Thanks to our rich experience in the international consumer goods sector, we are able to handle this type of produce using innovative, reliable solutions which more than meet the specific demands of this multinational customer.

“The decision to entrust us with the warehouse activities for the home care products in all of the company’s Italian plants is a mark of recognition of the excellent service we have provided P&G during the past five years.”

The latest news comes after P&G awarded CEVA the contract to handle their warehousing and logistics for their distribution network throughout the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen at the beginning of the month.
