WEST AFRICA – The United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) has launched two new West Africa services (WAF 2 and WAF3) this month to enhance the company’s freight schedule reliability and improve transit times to meet what it says is the growing demand and customer requirements in the West African market. The new services will operate in addition to UASC’s existing WAF1 service.
The port rotation of the three services will be as follows:
West Africa Container Service 1 (WAF1): Tangier - Algeciras - Apapa - Tincan - Tema – Tangier
West Africa Container Service 2 (WAF2): Algeciras - Tangier - Cotonou - Lome – Algeciras
West Africa Container Service 3 (WAF3): Tangier - Algeciras - Abidjan – Algeciras
Mr. Lars Christiansen, Chief Trade Officer at UASC commented:
