US – UK – WORLDWIDE - Seko Logistics, which started life in Chicago in 1976 before developing a global network of more than 120 offices spread over 40 countries, is the latest freight associated business to extend its business interests into other areas loosely related to the supply chain. Seko owns Red Hot Penny which supplies retailers with creative design, ecommerce technology and digital marketing services and has now added another full service ecommerce agency, Metakinetic, to the fold.

Seko Logistics has acquired an equity stake in Wokingham based Metakinetic, co-founded by Red Hot Penny’s Managing Director Darren Bull in 2005 and trading from the same location. Seko says the unification of the two agencies under the Red Hot Penny brand combines their extensive experience with Seko’s global warehousing and fulfilment operations, providing a truly end-to-end solution for retailers.

The new agency is concentrating its efforts on distinguished retail clients from a variety of sectors, including luxury goods, the arts and fashion brands. Already boasting a portfolio of clients that includes Rolex, Bodas, Claudia Schiffer, River Island, Merc and Larsson & Jennings, Red Hot Penny will tailor its offering to provide unique, high-performance solutions that challenge the boundaries of traditional ecommerce.
