Air Cargo and Passenger Carriers Meet This Month in Shanghai

IATA Symposium Sees All Facets of Industry Sector Gather in China

CHINA – WORLDWIDE – The International Air Transport Association (IATA) advises that there is only a week left to register for its 9th World Cargo Symposium (WCS 2015) to be held in Shanghai between March 10-12. Representing 250 of the world’s air cargo and passenger carriers there will be fourteen ‘tracks’ focusing on such things as Technology, Industry Trends, Perishables, Operations & Cargo Handling, e-Cargo, Regulation and more.

WCS 2015 will see leaders from the industry, international arena and prominent companies come together in the Plenary Session and exchange their views on the future of air cargo and how an understanding of customer expectations is key to shaping the future. An elaborate welcome reception sponsored by mercator is planned together with an exquisite gala dinner sponsored by China Eastern with traditional Chinese-themed entertainment and opportunities to network with key thought leaders from airlines, freight forwarders, shippers, regulators, airports, ground handlers and solution providers.

In addition to a content full track programme there are a number of industry and executive meetings and some specific training and educationally focused Workshops. WCS 2015 also sees the 4th edition of the Future Air Cargo Executives Summit (FACES) designed around identifying and developing the next generation of Air Cargo leaders.
