UK – Chris Cargill has joined Seko Logistics in the UK as Group Director to support the company’s global network expansion and air and sea freight product development strategies. Cargill spent over 40 years with the Allport Group, ultimately taking up the role of Managing Director in 2010. In March 2014, he joined Ligentia as a Group Director and shareholder.

UK – The Sailors’ Society has announced a new Chaplain for Southampton Port. Jonathan Martin brings three decades of chaplaincy experience, including acting as chaplain to the Royal Navy and HMS Victory. He will be working alongside volunteer ship visitors and staff at the charity’s new Southampton Seafarers’ Centre to ensure seafarers coming to the city are cared for, offering them practical, emotional and spiritual welfare support.

UK – Software specialist OrderWise has announced the promotion of Jessica Davy to the role of Department Manager. For the past two years, Davy has worked in the accounts specialist department and will now oversee a team of four working with other departments to develop and improve software available to clients.

UK – Air Menzies International (AMI) has announced Jonathan Clark as its new CEO. He will join the company in January 2018. Clark most recently served as Africa Director at Cargolux Airlines having also held positions with several other cargo carriers.

UK – GERMANY – Hermes has announced Carole Walker as Chief Executive Officer of Hermes Europe, Hamburg, effective since November 2. Taking over the role from Donald Pilz, Walker is responsible for the leadership activities of all European logistics businesses of the parent company, the Otto Group. Martijn de Lange has been named to take over Walker’s previous role as CEO of Hermes UK.

SINGAPORE – AUSTRALIA – The Toll Group has announced the appointments of Thomas Knudsen as President of Global Forwarding, and Peter Stokes as President of Global Operational Services. Knudsen will oversee Toll's Global Forwarding and lead a team of more than 3,100 across 26 countries. He will be based in Singapore, commencing January 2018 and will report to Managing Director Michael Byrne.

Stokes joined the group on November 1, leads a centralised network of operation s functions to services Toll's three divisions.

US – Meritor has announced Rodger Boehm to its Board of Directors as a Class III Director, with a term expiring at the 2018 annual meeting of shareholders. His appointment is effective as of December 1.

US – Richie Neal has been named as the new Director of Dealer Development for Pack Mule.
