DUBAI – South African-based Barloworld Logistics has announced that it plans to rebrand Dubai-based Swift Freight International LLC as Barloworld Logistics in the Middle East in line with its corporate strategy to consolidate all of the company’s acquisitions under its main brand.
Part of the South African Barloworld group, Barloworld Logistics purchased several business interests in both the Middle and Far East in 2008, as well as recently increasing its interests in European logistics, as part of a general expansion that sees the company aiming to become a leading supply chain management solutions player in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Far East.
'Our strategic intent is to provide supply chain management solutions to medium and large corporate customers,’ said Sean Bradley, Managing Director for the Barloworld Logistics Middle East operation
‘We want to give our existing and potential customers, the confidence that we are capable of providing integrated supply chain solutions to meet any of their needs in the market,’ he added.
