INDIA – Express distribution and supply chain solutions provider in India, Gati Limited have started a new partnership with GI certified haleem maker Pista House to distribute Hyderbadi haleem. Gati has linked its diverse distribution network to the online retailer Makemygiftz where haleem could be ordered and delivered in time for Ramadan this month.
Hyderabadi haleem is an important component of Ramadan for many Muslims and, unlike many traditional Indian foodstuffs, is usually meat based. Fresh and authentic Haleem from the city based food chain will be delivered across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, on a daily basis.
The haleem is particularly important to the Ramadam period as it provides an instant calorie rush during Iftaar, the evening meal which follows the period of fasting.
